What an absolute delight having a look through your gallery Can't even remember how I got here (think I might have been here before!! but so pleased to be back, stunning shots on every page, wonderful For now this is my 'fav' love the clarity and the way the lake bed is revealed in the shadow of the boat.
Hi Justin. Thanks for the comment. Its a blend of the same shot bracketed to get 3 exposures. One underexposed to keep the sky,one overexposed to get the water detail in the shadows and a standard exposure. Just a hint of vibrance so as not to overdo it because believe it or not it was an awful day.
wow i would of never of thought to combine my bracketed photos! thats amazing! its an amazing shot and i cant believe u made a crappy day look like a fantisy world! it looks great...thats for the explanation...im gonna try it!
You should have a go and you can blend as many images as you feel necessary to obtain full details in the final image. When you take the photos use a tripod and only alter the shutter speed to adjust the exposure NOT THE APERTURE. I tend to bracket up to about 5 images generally. Always shoot in raw mode rather than jpeg if you have that facility in your camera
